My Story
Where do I even start! Scentsy has changed me. It has changed my life.
When I joined Scentsy I didn’t even have a warmer! The one is mt starter package was my first! WAY back in 2012 I was at my aunt’s house and it just smelled amazing there!! When I asked her what smelled so amazing she told me it was Scentsy! I still had no idea what she was talking about!!
So she showed me her warmer and wax bars. It was Blueberry Cheesecake wax. Then I forgot about it again. Lol
A week or 2 later I decided I wanted some. Off to Google I went. When I found the site there as on option to make extra money. I had just finished up a part time job at a Halloween store (sooo fun!!!) so I thought “why not?!” I still really had no idea what I was getting into!!!
The night I “launched” my business my hubby asked me to marry him!!! Made the night extra special and something to always remember!!
2015 was a year of ups and downs. We found out we were going to have a baby!! But then we miscarried. It was horrible. It sent me in to a bad depression. I was so lost. My Scentsy sisters helped me get through that year. Thank god I had them!
October 2015, I promoted to Director level of the company!! With no formal business education or training, just the tools provided to me by Scentsy, I was able to reach a leadership role in my company! Such an amazing feeling when you grow up thinking you will never be anything special! Scentsy has given me the courage, the confidence, and the ability to become someone I never thought possible!
But the depression continued. My “day job” was processing maternity leaves for a US company. After loosing a baby every day at work was a struggle. I applied for other positions in the company, but they would not move me. I couldn’t take it anymore. It was too much. March 2016, I quit my full-time job of 11.5 years to work my Scentsy business full time! It was the most amazing and freeing feeling I have ever had after so many years being attached to a desk!! Life was good!!!
2017 all my dreams came true and we were blessed to become pregnant again. We now have the most amazing little boy James!!! He is my best little business helper and my reason for everything I do! Having a baby came with post partum depression. Its hard. But he is worth it. I’m a work from home mama and part of the year my husband works away. Scentsy helps me stay connected and social on days I feel like shutting out the world. Scentsy is like a second family to me.
